| Foyer
Before entering the Entrance Hall and passing the large doors leading into the castle is a small room where people may wipe their feet of dirt and water and remove their coats.

Here staff members can relax and converse between classes.

| Prefects Lounge
When off duty Prefects can relax here. They room is filled with tabels and a number comfortable sofas.

| Infirmary
Taking up most of the eastern end of the first floor is the Hospital Wing, filled with many beds that have privacy screens around them.

The Gellamena library contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves and a Restricted Section at the back, set off with a rope. A signed note from a teacher is required to peruse that section of the library. The library books have various spells on them to prevent students from defacing or stealing them. The library closes at 8 pm.

| Courtyard
In the courtyard, islanded by stony walls and castle towers, students can be found loitering about outside, enjoying a breath of fresh air between classes.

Students can be found loitering around this white marble pavilion.

| Fish Pond
The fish pond is made of white marble and contains sevral huge goldfish. In the summer months students are seen removing their socks and shoes as sticking their feet in the cool water or feeding the fish with bits of bread crumbs.

| Rose Maze
Miraculously, the school's white rosebushes grew together to form a rose maze.

| Restricted Forest
Students are not allowed to venture into the dark forest. The only paths are ancient game trails.

The quidditch pitch is often a popular place for students to converge and practice of cheer on their house team.

The old light house still stands and works too. Once in a while a student will come up to have a quiet moment.

Muggle Dublin is usually buzzing with both muggle and wiard activity.

| Cliodna Square
Cliodna Square is a tiny wizarding village that holds the train station students arrive at. On weekends the students are allowed to visit the square. Cliodna was the Celtic Irish goddess of beauty and the eldest daughter of the last Druid of Ireland. She has a statue dedicated to her in the center of the square.
